Skype and Facetime blocked

Go to solution

I have just set up a new Smart Hub 2. It is working fine except that now no device can access Skype (app or web site), or Facetime. The message we get is that there is an error in the SSL certificate so it's not safe to access.

I have tried to find an easy answer (rebooting router, rebooting PCs etc, googling the problem), but cannot find anything.

Anyone come across this and solved it?

@4danaram

You will probably find that BT Parental Controls are active.

But first, make sure that smart setup is disabled.

Thanks, it was the parental controls under My BT. Social Networking had been checked along with the undesirable thigs.
