Smart Hub 2 & Home Discs are they yours ?

Hi all

My contract is getting renewed next month and was thinking going for the Smart Hub 2 and Home Disc and wanted to know when you take out the 18 month contract are the

1, Smart Hub 2 yours after that 18 months like the BT hub 4

2,  Home Discs  yours after that 18 months

I ask this because I looked into this and you have to pay more for the hardware. 

any help would be great

I think you will find that the discs are just "rented" and will need to keep paying the ongoing monthly charge for them.

I think they can be bought for about £100 each,

yep nothing in the first post telling you anything about that in the link.

plus you can get a pair of white discs for £90 not £100 each

why would anyone in there right mind  pay £7 a month for 18months £126 then send them back when you can buy a dual pack for £90 and there yours.

what about the router ?

@meridius welcome to the community and thanks for posting.  I'd recommend that you check out the Complete Wifi FAQ's on this link for more information on the service.  As mentioned the discs belong to BT however the Smart Hub 2 is yours.
