I've recently replaced my Home Hub 3 and ADSL(?) box with a Smart Hub 2 and
now I cannot scan from the printer console button.
I can print and scan from my computer OK so each device is communicating with each other.
My printer is an Epson ET-4750 and is connected by WiFi.
If I connect by a wired LAN cable it still doesn't work either.
I've turned off Smart Setup and 5GHz is switched off temporarily.
Is the router firewall blocking the printer and if so how do I allow it through.
Any assistance much appreciated.

Assuming you're scanning to a PC or laptop, from that device (the one you're scanning to), left click the network icon in your SystemTray and click on the Properties link for your connection.
Check that the network type has been correctly idenitified as Private
