Smart Hub 2 dropping out regularly - router log notes

Hi, getting a lot of drops on the router/network over last few weeks Looking at logs  -always seem to be proceeded by "DOS Spoofing"/Port Scanning   -could someone please explain what is this and do I need do anything about it at all? Many thanks .

It's unlikely that the DoS messages are related to the restarts - these are just indicators that your hub received a request from the Internet that it doesn't like and interprets it as a denial of service attempt - they occur regularly in my log as well (and likely everyone elses).

In addition, your restart was a full 3 minutes after the last DoS log, which is an eternity in computer time.

Interestingly on my hub, like yours, these "DOS Spoofing"/Port Scanning entries always occur at 2-3 seconds past the hour every time. The hour varies so they don't all happen at 10am for example but they are always a couple of seconds past whichever hour.
