It's largely irrelevant though as you have no option to manually change the firmware version or to request an update. BT will do this automatically.
Thanks for that, my version is 184.108.40.206.220.127.116.11.11 which was updated in August 2015. I thought in 1 1/2 years there would of been a update. Mine is the HH5A. Is the "Software version 18.104.22.168.22.214.171.124.1" the latest version then?
The 126.96.36.199.188.8.131.52.1 firmware is the latest I'm aware of, and going by the date mine was updated, was released in early 2016.
Whilst you can't initiate an update you may well see one in the near future as BT have stated they'll be enabling IPv6 on the Home Hub 5 in early 2017.
I was enquiring because of connection issues and hoped that an upgrade would fix it

My hub's been stuck on 184.108.40.206.220.127.116.11.11 ever since I bought it (second-hand). I don't have any problems with it, so i suspect your problems are elsewhere.
@john46: Are you sure? That is my firmware revision already.

And Advanced Settings->Broadband->IPv6 Status says:
IPv6 will be disabled on your BT Home Hub and BT Broadband Network until supported by future services.
Also, Advanced Settings->Home Network->IPv6 Configuration says:
IPv6 Configuration is not currently enabled as your BT Home Hub and/or BT Broadband Network are not enabled for IPv6.
