Smart Hub USB issue

The old Home Hub 5 had a usb socket. If you connected a portable hard drive to this usb port you could then read the hard drive through the file explorer in the network section. (W7 and W10). This does not work with the new Smart Hub. If you look in the hub user interface the hard disk is there but in file explorer it cannot be found. No settings have changed on the laptop. I can't find any settings in the hub user interface that would influence this. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Smart Hub USB issue

Try re-starting the Hub with the Hard Drive connected.

Re: Smart Hub USB issue

It does still work, but looks to be unfinished..

In Windows Explorer type \\192.168.1.254 in the address bar, hit Enter and you'll see a folder named Disque_partage, USB contents inside.

Cheers
