I've just upgraded to a Smart Hub 2. My Google homes have all connected well but my smart sockets have not.
I've split my signal and turned off 5GHZ but the sockets are still not connecting
Any ideas from anyone?

What was the reason for upgrading, was the original home hub faulty?
The Smart Hub 2 does not allow you to split the SSIDs.

Have you checked the hub manager to confirm that they're not connected or are you assuming they're not connected because you can't contact them?
Assuming that they're cloud based, you may need to check the app settings
At a guess, your smartplugs are searching for your old SSID but of course they can't find it because it's not there, You could try changing the SSID and wi-fi password of your new router to be the same as your previous one. If I'm right your plugs will then connect.
Just wanted to thank all the advice I received from everyone
Got things sorted now. I turned off the 5Ghz in the hub manager. Turned the hub on and off again. Connected all of my sockets and then turned the 5Ghz signal back on. All is now working smoothly! Yay!
