Static IP via VPN

Hello,

As Static IP addresses are only for BT Businesses customers i need to find a way to get the Hub 5 a static ip address as i do a lot of work with servers and i need to be whitelisted to a few of them, its annoying getting someone to change my IP everytime it changes.

So how would one go about setting up a VPN with a static IP address (any recommendations on VPNS would be useful aswell)

Appreciate any help 🙂

Re: Static IP via VPN

Static IPs are only available to business customers.

I've found having constant communication with external services 24/7 allows you to keep the same address for much longer periods of time, I've had the same address for months on end in the past.

The best option would be to set up a dynamic DNS address in the Hub 5's settings. Otherwise, you'll need a business account.
