The problem I have is this as per below. And whenever I speak to BT, they claim that it's because every device in the house gets sudden interference bad enough to cause a complete disconnect every half an hour. Mentioning the fact that it is accompanied by TR069 just gets a pause followed by a "which computer are you seeing this TR069 error on?". πŸ˜•

This was after a suggestion to disable 5Ghz  - didn't make any difference. Sigh...

You'll just have to tolerate it without losing your cool. A distinct pattern of events is emerging.

LOL - one of the agents remarked that, given the problems I'm having, I was remarkably calm. I said that I didn't feel it inside!

 

I think you're right about it being fixed eventually, but I would like to know if it's a known problem. The problem is that even if it is, they'll say that I'm the only person with the problem. πŸ˜•

I am lucky at the moment it's not causing any broadband disconnects currently at 2 days 21hrs dsl uptime but I will probably reset the router because family members will reset the router when they can't connect via wifi. I would rather reset the hh5 in the morning and hopefully it will not need reset again at least for today. I have been trying to prove my issue isn't interference by using inssider and showing signal strength and when wifi devices disconnect they won't reconnect even when next to the router.

They are all good at face to face (or ear to ear) PR.

Not surprising since UK does'nt manufacture much any more. Sales and PR is all that's left. OH - and project management.

I wondering at the minute If i used the online chat maybe they could speed up the process of remotely upgrading the hh5 to v1.6 like Ribblelancs then we will be ready for the next update. Instead of downloading>installing v1.4 then doing the same for v1.6. because i'm not sure if v1.4 and the M Download have been installed or just downloaded to hub. The latest firmware .204 didn't install for weeks and only installed after shutting down the hub before turning the electricity off to change a power socket.
