I don't quite understand the meaning or reason for WAN Ethernet 2 - Down. Must be internal to the HH5.

I would presume that the E of PPPoE is marked as down, though why it is "2", is the "2" just the code for "down" (rather than "ethernet 2")? That said, I haven't seen any "PPPoE is down after xxx minutes uptime" on mine, so can't confirm.

I'm on 4.7.5.1.83.8.204 - sorry, I should have said. ๐Ÿ™‚

There are no problems this morning. No DSL disconnects, wifi is ok.

Last "Value Change " event was at 21-09 pm yesterday, 12-02-2015.

Re: Strange HH5 TR069 Log entries.

Belated reply.

My problem was solved by a new HH5 router. It is unclear as to why this fixed it but BT (after over 2 weeks of calls) suspected that it was a failed firmware upgrade where the HH5 shows the new version but inside not all is well. I wonder how many other problems that materialise soon after a firmware update are caused by the same problem?!

Re: Strange HH5 TR069 Log entries.

@mossewell,
Thanks for the post.
The "fix" was successfully applied, so it's a slight improvement over a situation which slowly built up (by stealth) from January this year.
It's really back to where it was on initial HH5 install in July 2014. Stalemate.

Hmmm my HH5 Type A is acting up like a right burk, with many, many TR069 log entrys and reboots and it has all come about since the 4.7.5.1.83.8.222.1.1 firmware started floating about (which my HH has not updated to).
