TPLink powerline adapters casuing wifi internet access dropout

Good evening all,

I have TPlink powerline adapters. Full fibre and BTHomeHub2

I have been living with internat acccess dropping out several times per day for may be 8 years.

I have feebly complaned a few times and got nowhere.

Light bulb moment.. Could it be th eTPLink stuff?

Let's turn off the TPLink adapters - No wifi dropouts all day. My suspicions are aroused....

Parts of the house not reached by the hub

What can I do to make my TPLink adapters work without casuing dropouts, please.

Or are you all laughing up your sleeves becasue you all knew about this years ago?

Many thanks in advance

Tom

Re: TPLink powerline adapters casuing wifi internet access dropout

On xDSL connections, using powerline adapters when the phone line runs close and parallel to a part of the ring main can very definitely be problematic.  Some powerline adapters have a setting that can reduce the problem but they won't always eliminate it.  Sometimes it's just enough to remove any wire phone extensions!

I only learn by making mistakes and owning up to them - boy do I learn a lot!

Thank you so much - I'll try reconfiguring my cable geometry...
