That seems to have done the trick, thanks. I have no idea why it worked on the previous one and not this one.

The only thing I didn't know was the proxy setting, so I set it to a random port, but seems fairly stable now

You should not need to set any proxy settings, as you have a direct connection to the Internet, and not via a proxy server.

Ha, just saw a Panasonic announcement on Facebook....

"Update: The issue with our servers, whereby some customers were having difficulty accessing the internet and apps on their Panasonic devices, has now been resolved. Customers should now be able to access their network services as normal. We would like to thank all affected customers for their patience whilst this was investigated."

That may well have something to do with it! Will set back to defaults and see what happens.
