The apparently common Wired LAN issue with the HomeHub.

Hi all

 

Just switched over from Sky to BT and installed my very first HomeHub. All is fine on the WiFi side but anything directly connected by ethernet either runs slow or causes the HH to drop out. I've tried playing around with fixed IPs and disabling IPv6 etc to no avail.

 

Am I correct in thinking the only viable fix is a replacement HomeHub?

Welcome to this user forum.

 

What do you have connected to the home hub Ethernet ports?

 

Try turning Smart Setup off.

Connect a single laptop or desktop PC to the home hub, and nothing else. Does it still drop out?

 

Try a factory reset of the home hub.
