Re: Tidal drop outs and not finishing tracks

Ok I have now set the hub as you suggested, Smart set up is off. Also switched to using dual channles.

I will see if this helps. Thanks for the help so far

The dual channel is really only for wireless devices, but it will help your iPad app to maintain a better connection.

Can you look at the event log as I suggested. Not sure exacly where its located on the HH6, as I do not use a home hub.

It may give you a clue as to what happens when you get a disconnect.

It is my sky box that is connected by ethernet cable....but I have to keep this connected to access on demand services etc

I was just thinking of perhaps a temporary disconnection, just to prove whether that is causing the problem.

How often are the dropouts occuring?

Re: Tidal drop outs and not finishing tracks

The drop outs dont happen a lot. The not finishing tracks or skipping at the start happens virtually every track on certain albums

That makes me wonder if its a problem with the source material, as it only affects certain albums. That does not seem like an Internet connection issue.

I have looked at the event log, but to be honest it makes no sense to me . Also not sure what time I had the issues with Tidal

Wait until you get the problem again, then look at the event log right away, and copy and paste the recent events onto this thread. It may be possible to see what is going on.

Where you on ADSL or fibre, with Sky?

Was that with their own hub, or did it involve having a white Openrech modem as well?
