Try a factory reset of the home hub.
Then turn Smart Setup off.

Also try separating and renaming the SSIDs as that can cause problems.

Neither, you need to press the recessed reset button with a paperclip for 20 seconds until the lights flash.
You will need to turn off smart setup and split the wireless again afterwards.
