Trying to opt out of BT Fon and Openzone. Driving me mad..

Trying to opt out of BT FON/OPENZONE, because I'm not interested in sharing broadband. The Homehub has opted me in to sharing my broadband wifi to any old perv who wants to use my garden. When I click opt out...

My BT user and pass won't log me in to the FON/OPENZONE section. It asks for a BT Yahoo email address, which I never received (plus I don't need or want).

The help system tells me that to find out my BT Yahoo email address I have to call them.

It's little things like this which ruin my day.

You must use the primary email address and password that you were given when you signed up to BTYahoo.

Re: Trying to opt out of BT Fon and Openzone. Driving me mad..

You should have been given a btinternet.com email address when you signed up for BT broadband, and a password to go with it.  It's worth knowing what it is, because it's used to sign in to a whole host of BT services, and BT sometimes send service-related emails to it, even if you've given them a different address.
