This is a new issue to me but every time I try to set up a Facetime session, it connects with the other party and then, after 30 or so seconds the wifi connection is cut.
The wifi on my iPad works fine everywhere else. The router is fine, the configuration of the iPad is fine and so on. The latest software is installed and until this incident there have never been any issues with Facetime at all, ever.
The only remaining possible source of problems is BT. I have read reports elsewhere that raised exactly the same issue. In those instances the ISP was V*rg*n and the response from them was along the lines that Apple is not necessarily compatible with all ISP services.
Is it possible that, since the latest updates, there is an issue between the Apple software and BT broadband?
