I'm planning to set up two Ethernet networks at home: if each is connected separately to a BT Smart Hub 2 will they be able to communicate with each other without being daisy chained?
Solved! Go to Solution.
You can only have one BT Smart Hub 2 connected to your broadband. You could use the other as a wireless access point, but it would need to be physically connected to the first home hub.
Thank you Keith for your prompt reply.
The back of my BT Smart Hub 2 has four Ethernet connectors and I was hoping to connect each of my planned two networks there (each network has its own Ethernet switch). My question is whether by doing so will I be able, say, to print from a laptop on network 'A' to a printer on network 'B'.
Thanks in anticipation.

Yes, of course that will work provided the printer is shared.
