Unnecessary extension sockets

We have recently moved into a new property and have got BT TV and Broadband.

There are a number of extension sockets around the house and loads of telelphone wire which we would like to remove. The BT hub is plugged into the master socket, is there a way to remove the extension sockets and wires as we don't need them and they are unsightly.

I believe BT charge around £100 for an engineer to come and look at the problem but I think this is quite costly to just remove some sockets and wires.

Thanks

Re: Unnecessary extension sockets

Simply undo the 2 screws holding the removable faceplate of the master socket and disconnect the wires. They will just pull out of the idc connectors.
