Lastly which Ethernet port do i use from the business hub to the Linksys velop. There are 4. Can i use any or has to be a certain one?

Probably won't matter, not sure if only 1 port is activated when in bridge mode. If so, it is likely to be either port1 or port4

Does the Business Smart Hub have a phone socket for Digital Voice on it like the Residential one?

If it does, then I wonder if BT Digital Voice will work if the hub is in modem only mode, as that would provide a solution to those people who want to use their own router with DV.

And if BT gave the option to enable modem mode on the SH2, that that would keep a lot of people happy.

No it doesn’t 

just the usual usb 4 ethernet ports

i wish they did have this option. Virgin do it. Don’t see why BT don’t. It would make life easy for soo many people

Cool. So i take it the wan port is port 4. 
the link you sent is a smart hub 2. I have sh1. It is not labelled wan but i will give port 4 a try first

You don't use a WAN port, that would be if you were using the hub as a router with a separate modem. However, port 4 may be the LAN port that is active when in modem mode.
