VOIP Phone will not connect with new Home Hub 5

Hi, i have just received a new BT Home Hub 5 as my other one had developed a fault. Been working from home for 6 years with no issues but my VIOP phone will not work with the new HUB. Can anybody offer some help please. i need to get this up and running ASAP. It's causing me a major problem

did you check you have changed all the settings in new hub to match old one?  turn off smart setup?  split networks?

did you change SSID and password of new hub to that of old hub to save having to change all your wifi devices

I didn't change any settings, mainly because i have no idea how to, or how to switch off smart set up. i changed all my devices to connect to new hub. everything working perfectly, except the VOIP phone.
