Thanks, are the all in one boxes not better technology, or is that just a myth?

Same technology just in one box. Some people prefer the two boxes so that you can reset the router without it possibly causing DLM to kick in and lower speeds.

 

Have a look through the forum about problems with the HH5 resetting and poor wireless strength amongst other things. Obviously there will be others that have never had any problems with it.

 

If you are wanting a free one from BT you will need to re-contract and try and negotiate it into the re-contract deal.

New HH5 arrived today set it up in two minutes just done a speed test on it and its reading 34.55mbps im happy with that will check how strong thw wifi  later heading out to mass now.
