Tried this. It did not work for me.
I am connected to the internet via the Home Hub
i can see all three disks via mybtdevice.home
I have updated the Hub software to the latest version
Have switched off/on all three disks for 60 secs+
App still won’t connect

Update: rebooted iPad and App worked! Go figure
