BT persuaded me to change from BT Unlimited Broadband to BT Halo 1 (no fibre available). It started two days ago.
I have a smart phone, Sony Xperia xz1, and it is now constantly experiencing "no internet" - the wi-fi signal is strong and it connects to the router fine with no problem. The odd thing is I am not getting the internet being dropped on my laptop, only on the phone. It does eventually get the internet, only to drop it again when the phone is just on standdby so every time I pick up the phone I have to wait ages before it will connect to the internet again. I've never had this problem with the phone before. It's driving me nuts!
It could be a phone adaptor fault I suppose but wondering is it just a coincidence it has been happening since the change of broadband package?
