Try a factory reset of the Homehub by pressing a pin into the recess button on the rear for about 20 seconds. This can often sort out problems.
After doing that make sure you turn off "smart setup" on the Homehub.
See link how to do that.

After the reset I would also split the 2.4/5ghz networks
I am experiencing the same problem on my HH5. It received a firmware update at 23:00 28/2/2019 and since then the 5ghz WiFi keeps losing internet access. It has been working fine for many years before this last update.

Have you done what has been suggested on this thread?
I have not performed a hard reset but I have rebooted a couple of times which gets the 5ghz working for a short time before losing internet access again.
I would suggest that you try the above especially after a software update.
WIll do a hard reset when I get home.
