WiFi frequency

Go to solution
My 5ghz frequency has a greater range than my 2.4ghz frequency. It's still working when I'm near the hub though, is it broken?

Re: WiFi frequency

Welcome to this user forum.

It could be that the 2.4GHz wireless module, or its internal aerials, have gone faulty.

Try a factory reset of the home hub.

Then turn off smart setup.

Se if the wireless signal gets better. If not, then you have a faulty home hub.

you could also try splitting the 2.4/5ghz networks to see if that helps

Appreciate the assistance, thank you, however unfortunately it was by splitting the frequency that I discovered this issue.
