WiFi slow

Hi There,

I am having issues where my speed test is sticking to like 20mbps down when I'm supposed to be getting 65-80mbps. Bt have fitted a new socket said there wasnt a problem and installed a new router and said the house gets 62 through the line. A few months ago I would get 54mbps no problem and now I struggle to get 40.

Re: WiFi slow

Have you tried running the test via Ethenet and using the BT Speed Test tool?

Re: WiFi slow

Yes I've tried that now and that says 40 but what I can't understand is I was getting 50+mbps instantly

Re: WiFi slow

I have done this before but I was unsure to how reliable the results are as no one from BT has recommended this before..
