@RoloTheRed

Which BT Home hub are you using at the moment, is it the Smart Hub 2?

There are other cheaper alternatives you may wish to try, especially if there is a mains socket inside, near the outside camera.

Re: WiFi very poor connection to ring camera

I've found the black discs to be excellent but they are associated with a regular monthly cost ad-infinitum whereas the solution suggested by @Keith_Beddoe  incurs a one off cost only

Then the hotspot kit is your best option. Just plug the remote unit in a mains socket nearest to the camera. If you cannot easily change the wireless settings on the camera, then you will need to change the hotspot settings to match your home hub.

If you can change the settings on the camera, then change them to match the hotspot wireless network, as that way you will always make sure the camera connects to the hotspot, and not the home hub. That is the best method.
