Will Chromecast work with a BT Wifi Hotspot

Assuming the BT App is installed on a smart phone and the phone is set up to Chromecast is it possible to use a BT Wifi Hotspot to watch TV on a TV rather than use either laptop or phone? This would be so useful when away where it possible.

Will a Streaming Device, eg Chromecast, work with a BT Wifi Hotspot?
Assuming a smart phone has the BT App installed to link to a hotspot and the phone has the apps to support a streaming device is it possible to use a BT Wifi Hotspot to stream to a TV.  This would be so useful when away where a BT Wifi hotspot is available and save on 4G data using either laptop or phone.
