Windows Edge

Go to solution

Anyone any idea if/when Broadband help will work with Windows Edge as windows 10 no longer supports Explorer and therefore does not launch. No broadband problems may just need to be able to access it. Thanks.

You really don't need to use it, it is a pile of junk left over from the dark ages.

If by "Broadband Help" you mean BT Desktop Help, you do not need it for anything on your computer or to connect to the Internet.

BTDesktop Help is a throw back to the days of Windows '95, XP and dial up when networking and getting an Internet connection was a black art and difficult to do. It was to help customers with no knowledge how to connect to the Internet and if connection was lost it might have been able to help re-connect.

Windows and other operating systems now make it very easy and and they have their own built in diagnostic tools etc and perform the tasks in the back ground without any user intervention and is certainly far better than BT Desktop Help can.

You can still use Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 10. If it is not already on your computer you can download it from Microsoft.

Explorer 11 is available on Windows 10 as a standard browser
