Wireless connection from KindleFire

Go to solution

Had KindleFire for nearly 12 months, my connection to BT Infinity Broadband no problem at all.

Recently I have been unable to access my BT address connection - message on KindleFire reads "Authorisation Failed".

Tried various options to try and get the link back to no avail.

I was able to use a "BTWiFi" that was on my list of options but I now get the same "Authorisation Failed" message with that option too.

Tried looking at the options on the KindleFire but nothing obvious to me what I can amend.

Note my laptop connection works no problem at all.

Any ideas what is wrong would be helpful.

Thanks

If you mean you are unable to connect to your homehub you should "forget" the connection on the Kindle then restart the Kindle and remake the connection. Make sure you are using the wireless key found on the homehub label and not your email password or the admin password.
