Re: bt dns issues southwest

Thanks for the heads up, changing to the German (VPN) node has helped bring the speed back to normal. So it appears it is a problem around London peering then.

Cheers, Andy.

Yesterdays DNS issues

Despite BT claiming that the DNS power out issues of yesterday are now resolved I am still having unacceptable problems with page response times and this has only occured since the above outage occured. I have 38Mb/s Infinity, it is affecting all 3 of our household laptops, I have repeatedly rebooted all of them together with the Hub and router. Speed test tells me I am getting the correct upload/download speed and ping test is approx 19ms BUT speedtest doesnt use DNS and every page on most websites are taking an age to come through, this can only be residual issues of the DNS problem. This is the 2nd day of service disruption for me and once again I am utterly dismayed by BTs lack of customer care. I want this resolved NOW PLEASE.

Slow speeds and unaccessable pages again

Are we having the same problem as yesterday morning again.

I cannot access some pages and those that I can are very, very slow.
