connection dropping. ORANGE LIGHT on hub.

hi.

please help!!

I tried calling india but it took half an hour of nonsense and i got nowhere.

My BTHOMEHUB2 has four lights on it  usually all lit blue.

now the past week the PHONE ICON is Orange.

Now when im watching youtube or trying to download an album my connection gets cut off.

The guy from India tried to blame the cables that go from my hub and phone so i replaced them.  still i got orange light

i have unplugged, reset, unplugged from wall..took out all wires replaced etc etc etc... still its ORANGE.

What can i do?

help so i don have to call india again.

I am using wireless  desktop pc, windows 7.. my PC is in tip top shape and all newly replaced inside etc. so its NOT my pc...

Re: connection dropping. ORANGE LIGHT on hub.

Try a factory reset of the Homehub by pressing a pin into the recess button on the rear for about 20 seconds.

Re: connection dropping. ORANGE LIGHT on hub.

your post has not been buried it is on a very busy board if you upgrade your hub you will lose broadband talk the orange phone light is nothing to do with a drop in connection normally if the broadband talk is not used for over 90 days it is automatically ceased you could could try re enabling broad band talk but the service is being ceased permanently in the future

Re: connection dropping. ORANGE LIGHT on hub.

still..

can anyone explain just why all of a sudden im being disconnected every single time i try and download or stream?

cos if i phone india i just get told that there is NO connection problems which is clearly wrong since i am being cut offline several times a day.

what could the problem be?

Re: connection dropping. ORANGE LIGHT on hub.

if wireless have you tried changing wireless channel try downloading inssider and using it to locate a free wireless channel this may solve your disconnection problem also the home hub 2 has been known to have problems as this link explains http://forumhelp.dyndns.info/hardware/hh2/hh2_issues.html
