i have a bt hub 6 which is now turning its self off after a few hours been on live chat to ask for a replacement hub was told i have to have a engineer out before i could get one dont want anyone coming to my home putting my self at risk now if hub goes off compelety i have no broadband this is a total nightmare not a happy customer at all
Firstly this is a customer driven support forum, most of us like you are customers.
When you say "i have a bt hub 6 which is now turning its self off" do you mean
1: it looses connection or 2: the power to the unit is lost and ALL the lights go out ?
Try a factory reset by pressing the recessed button on back and holding 20/30secs until lights flash. After hub restarts remember to turn of smart setup
all lights go out ive changed power supply but it still does it getting no lights on at all have to unplug it all wait for about 15 minutes then it comes back on for a while not happy
