epson stylus printer not seeing the ssid of my hub 6 but sees my old hub 5. any ideas?

have you turned of smart setup

when i try to set up wireless printing i cannot see the hub 6 in the ssid list. i have plugged in my old hub 5 and it appeared straight away

Its possible that the wireless encryption on the HH6 is not supported by your printer. I am not sure whether there  is an option to change that on the HH6, otherwise you will just have to keep using the HH5.

It mat be worth doing a factory reset on the home hub 6, to see i8f it helps.

Are you sure that the 2.4GHz is being transmitted, as your other devices may be connecting on 5GHz?

Make sure the HH5 is turned off when you do any tests.

did you actually reset printer back to factory settings as that should delete any record of hh5 provided it is not connected
