iPhone / iPad disconnecting or dropping zoom/whatsapp video/facetime video calls - intermittent

Hi

I have HomeHub with 2 disc whole home extenders. The connectivity through lockdown has been great, supporting two working from home adults, using MS Team calls most of the day and two home schoolers, both managing live online teaching using Teams. 

In the last few days/week iphones and ipads seem to be intermittently dropping connection to the wholehome network causing video calls to fail, this is when we noticed something not quite right. I think it is also affecting general connectivity but as it seems to reconnect itself its not so obvious. Sometimes streaming video works fine, others it can be patchy. 

Any ideas what could have caused the change? 

Steering has been suggested and I have disabled this for legacy devices today but not noticed any changes?

Any help or guidance appreciated.
