As a heads up it is possible to use more than one pair of HomePlug AV devices on a ring main at any one time, though the throughput will decrease ridiculously. If you do go down that router you have to keep the number of HomePlug AV devices as small as possible - more than 2 pairs (2 + 2) and you'd probably be able to walk the data faster than it will travel over your ringmain!
