my internet is unstable and weaker since Sunday 14/06/2020

Hi, I am very disappointed or frustrated and stressed: my work is affected when teaching via Zoom and my private socialising is affected on the weekends where I use the internet with ethernet cable. The BT internet was good enough for the last 2 months and only last Sunday, 14th of June this good internet provider started to be unsatisfactory. How can you explain the decrease in quality?

Welcome to this user forum.

Is there any noise on your phone calls? Dial 17070 and select option 2, there should be no noise between the announcements.

? I have no phone number with BT, I use only the internet via the router....

You will have a phone number, even if you have never used it, it will appear on your phone bill.

Does your BT Home hub plug into a phone socket on the wall?

it does connect with a BT socket on the wall yes!
