using Netspot or similar to check wifi coverage

Hello, I recently installed a Ring doorbell and chime to my house. It is connected to BT wifi without problem and works ok. Problem is that the router is placed in my hall, the doorbell is 10ft away on an outside wall, the chime is 1ft away from router. Both devices , via the Ring app , show poor wifi connection and sometimes the wifi connection is lost, but eventually reconnects on its own. I have a BT wifi disc which I have tried in various different locations but no improvements yet. Thinking trying the Netspot app to try and map the wifi signal strength around my house. All other devices seem to run ok.

Any thoughts appreciated

A WiFi analyser such as that should show you competing networks from neighbour & should help you manually select the least congested channel rather than relying on auto-selection.
