wi-fi

My Wi-Fi printer has been on a 'go-slow' ever since the engineer moved the BT hub a few weeks ago - I'm wondering if I need an extra disc to put in the same room as the printer? Any thoughts? Many thanks

Re: wi-fi

This could help, or placing a disc between the hub and the printer location. Have you tried to do this with one of your existing discs?

Re: wi-fi

There are a number of apps available for smartphones which measure Wi-Fi signal strength, download one of them (I use Wi-Fi Analyzer) and see how strong or weak your Wi-Fi signal is near your printer

Re: wi-fi

Thanks but my phone is just a phone - I don't do apps 🙂

Re: wi-fi

Yes, there is a disc positioned between the hub & the printer but  it doesn't help

Re: wi-fi

Sorry, a silly question. Have you tried to switch off and on the printer in case this solves the problem?

No Problem. Do you have a tablet or laptop you can take into the same room as your printer to see if you can get a good Wi-Fi connection in there

Re: wi-fi

Yes, it's turned off daily so it's not that.
