151

I'm not being daft am I? Dialling 151 from a BT landline should get you through to BT?

I get -

"Sorry you cannot call that number from this line. Please contant your telephone provider using the contact number in the documention"

How many more aspects of my account can BT screw up!!

That obviously works as it would from any supplier but I'm more concerned why as a BT customer I get the afformentioned message when I use 151.

Nope. Just a normal DECT phone.

Is it plugged into the back of the home hub, and do you use Broadband Talk?

Re: 151

To save any further questions...

I'm a BT residential customer and have been for years. (Unlimited Evening and Weekend Plan)

I'm using your every day DECT phone.

It's plugged into the master (NTE5) socket.

Simple as that.
