Recently purchase quad BT 8600.
Entered date :Time : contacts onto one phone. However no migration of this data to the other 3 phones .
Looked through users guide and BT help line . No mention of how to migrate numbers from one phone to the other phones.
Thought that would be automatic in this day and age,
Also all the other phones displaying "line cord error " message . User guide says don't worry as this will disappear when phone line cord is connected .
Now I'm worrrying because the line cord is connected and I still have the message on all three phones . Plus one phone with the correct date and time and 26 contacts isolated on the fourth handset .
No help from BT so far.

Numbers are updated automatically. Do you have dial tone on any of the phones? Have you tried a wired phone in your phone socket to prove your line is working?

The solution was simple . Mate of mine came round ,looked at a phone with the "line error" message . pressed "hide" option showing on bottom right hand side of the screen and all the data migrated to the other phones . Sorted
