We've just paid £30 to have our gutter cleaned - it's been giving us problems for quite some time now.
Lo and behold - when the man cleaned it he found a coiled up telephone cable that had been dumped in the gutter at some time when the cable was replaced.repaired. See attached image......
I'm appalled. The blockage has affected the exterior of the house, which has had to be repainted. How does BT deal with compensation for damage caused by their sloppy and uncaring engineers?

Oh - and I forgot to mention that the outside rendering had been affected and had had to be repaired.......
Its Openreach not BT Retail who look after the external network. This is a BT Retail forum and has nothing to do with Openreach (A BT Group Business).
