Hi @RobFletcher 

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you and thanks for your continued patience.

I managed to track down someone who could answer the question you have raised in terms of 'What is BT doing with the numbers that are reported through the 'Report a scam' link?  

All the data reported through that link is being directed into our Call protect team.  This team will then analyse the offending numbers and block these numbers from calling other customers where possible.

On another note, I am pleased to see that the issue with the online portal to manage your call protect setting has been fixed, happy days and thanks to everyone who has contributed on this thread.

Yes just got call protect and having same problems online setting changes do not stick just revert back to original settings help appreciated.

My mother's BT Call Protect has started forgetting the settings again! Now I don't know if the settings are on or off!

I don't understand how this helps. My call protect settings are still not sticking and revert as soon as you leave the web page.???

Hi @SeanD , @RobFletcher , @Huntersmoon ,

I haven't checked my settings for quite some time.  As a result of thses last posts I have just checked and my Personal & BT Blacklists are now showing as "OFF". 

Will turn them back on and save, then return in a while to see if they have changed. call protect 190812 a.JPG

It certainly looks as though this fault has returned.  As can been seen here the Blackist seettins are now off :-

Further to this issue I have also been receiving "unavailable" calls in recent weeks, which withheld and/or unrecognised should have blocked

I can also confirm that the fault has returned. Maybe the 35 spam calls last week were due to the BT Blacklist being off as I didn't see any personal numbers turn up when the personal blacklist was on!

As you can see from the figures we rely on this service to work!
