BT Call Protect - Website Interface Not Working

Hi,

 

I hve been having problems with the BT Call Protect "Settings" online interface:

https://www.bt.com/s/apps/appspstn/index.html?accKey=6111758#/settings

 

When I open this page, after logging in, I get a web spinner that never goes away. I have tried Google Chrom and Firefox on Linux and Windows.

 

The problem has persisted for more than a month.

 

Has anyone else had this issue?

I have asked a moderator to provide assistance, they will post an invite on this thread.
They are the only BT employees on this forum, and are based in the UK.

 

Its possibly an account issue.

Yes, I've never got it to work in Firefox. Try Opera, that works for me.

@shaun29 sorry about that, are you getting the same issue if you try to manage any of the other extras in your MyBT or is the problem only with BT Call protect?

Hi Shaun,

 

I only go to it about once a week and it has always worked for me with no problem. 

I'm using IE 11 ON Windows 7

I tried your link and it did not work for me either.

Thank you for all your replies.

 

The "Add a number to your blacklist" page seems to work.

 

The problem is specifically with the "Manage" & "Recieved Calls" part of the Call Protect portal, every thing else seems to work perfectly.

 

 

I have now tried Opera without success.

 

It may be an account issue.

Everything works fine for me, for NOW !!

I am only a novice but maybe one of the "experts" on here will be able to offer a fix ?

Likewise, logging onto bt call protect via my bt, just results in a spinning circle on any part of the bt protect site.

 

it was working perfectly well up until about 10 days ago, nothing has changed, same browser, firefox, same computer, everything.

 

several conversations with bt customer services, who reset the service, but still does not work, lodged a complaint and got nowhere, I do not feel that the service agents actually have any idea what the problem actually is.

 

They have now booked an engineer visit, even though the phone line is working perfectly well, and call protect appears to be working perfectly well via the phone, just not the web interface.

 

Have you ever tried banging your head on a brick wall, it's lovely when you stop..

Just tried using Safari instead of firefox - working fine now. Boy, do I feel sheepish..
