Hi, I have a BT Decor 2200 v2 that has worked perfectly for about 4 years up until 31st July. On that day it shows I received a call from a caller whose number was in my directory but since then no new calls have been stored in my caller list and when I get an incoming call it just displays "Incoming Call", no number or any other info about the caller. Any ideas?
Have there been any recent changes to your contract, as you may have to add caller display again?
Please check to see if Caller Display is switched on by entering the code * # 234 #. If it's active you'll get the message Caller identity will be displayed.
No changes to my contract recently and just tried the code you mentioned and it says numbers will be displayed
Have you checked in case you have a crossed line?
Dial 17070 and make sure the number that is read out is correct, and matches the phone number on your bill.
Done that, all correct
Have you tried the phone in your master phone socket test position, with nothing else connected?
Sometimes a bad connection or a problem with a microfilter can corrupt the incoming CLI tones.
Bought a new BT Decor 2200 from Argos and this one works perfectly while the other (faulty) one has been demoted to an extension socket and is still not displaying the CLI numbers... just displays "Incoming call".
Any ideas if this con be fixed...maybe by resetting the phone back to factory defaults if that's possible?
