I bought a set of BT Elements weatherized DECT phones a couple of years ago, and, while they've always had the problem I'm about to describe, it's become worse over the past few months.
1) While you're in the middle of a conversation, the phone goes dead. Sometimes the other person can still hear you talking for a while, sometimes they can't.
2) The handset then has no dial-tone for about five minutes. I am not able to dial out, and if anyone phones, the "hub" and rechargers ring, but the phones do not.
3) If I power off the "hub" the handsets get a dial-tone straight away.
Anyone ever seen anything like this? Any ideas?
I should make it clear that there is no problem with my line, what I've reported never happens when I use a simple handset plugged directly into the socket, only when I use a BT Elelments hand-set.
It also may be worth saying that I use BT Infinity, with a HomeHub 3.
