I rang 14258 yesterday to access BT call protect as I got confused with the numbers and discovered this is Choose to refuse. However, it never used to work before unless you subscribed to it and that used to be about £4 per month.
Anyway it’s active on my line and cannot see it listed on my bills. I asked a friend to see if it works on there line but they use BT Digital voice and said it’s not enabled on their line but I don’t think it’s available on Digital voice anyway.
The only additions I’ve made to the landline are BT Callminder which I added about a month ago.
Is BT Choose to refuse now free and active on all BT residential copper lines?
