Call cuts out seconds after answering on handset. Says: No link to base.
Have tried re-registering handsets to base - says registered but same issue when tested.
Changed filter.
Base will take answerphone messages.
Can make outgoing calls without problem.
BT 7610 Trio cordless phones + nuisance call blocker.
In warranty.
Any ideas?

Thanks for the suggestion. I have changed the batteries in Handset 1 (and re-registered afterwards) but still the same issue. I have a similar issue with Handset 2. The line cuts after answering - whether lifting off of base or not. The handset says: 'No link to base. Please check base'.
Is there anything else I can check with the base? I have reseated the cables. The answerphone on the base took a call without cutting it off.

Did you get a solution to your problem with base unit ? TKTODAY
and if so can you share it with me please as i have same problem
Thanks Alex
After much searching on this "No Link to Base" and tried all to suggested remedies (registering/changing the batteries/ switching power off/ etc etc etc) and finding the BT cordless phone worked fine on a Virgin Landline AND noting that the Caller Display list had stopped updating I figured out it had something to do with the Caller Display function so I selected the "Calls" function on the phone and deleted the lot. Bingo ! Everything tickety Boo so it looks like when the Incoming calls register is full it just stops the phone receiving calls. There you are the solution to this all pervading problem no thanks to any BT engineers. (sad, resigned face....)
Turned off base station at the wall.
Left it off for 5 minutes.
Reset time and date when turned back on and all was fine.
HAd same problem. Solution was simple. Take batteries out of handset and then reinsert. Handset will then reconnect with base.Bingo
Thank you so much form your reply, I treid for days, replaced the batteries, switched off from the mains, reset the phoney- nothing worked until I deleted all the calls -bingo it worked! Got to be a design fault, the BT Engineers should know and be able to help...
