Broadband/phone conflict

Turned my computer on Saturday evening after getting home from work (was fine when I left for work that morning), only to find no broadband connection....................Long story short discovered only way to get a connection is if I have my phone on, turn off the phone and I lose the connection. I have my phone on now as I am writing this.

Can anybody help the helpline in India is of no help and I can not check my connection while the phone is on

Follow the instructions here first

They should give you an idea where the problem is.

If you still have problems, then report back here.

Thanks

Re: Broadband/phone conflict

Hi, this problem is normally due to a line fault or a faulty ADSL filter. Suggest you locate you main socket and plug the bnr direct into the test socket
